Hi All,

I have written a NDIS IM driver based on passthru and it is working fine
in windows 2000.

But I want to try same thing in 98 also. I got stuck in the installation
stage
itself.

I changed the inf file as per 98 rules , as per win98/inf/netlane.inf and
as per netlanep.inf and netlanem.inf of 2000, but no success.

I could not find any proper documentation on installing NDIS IM driver in
98.

Do any one  has succeded installing IM driver in 98 ?
If so please help me out.

I have written a binary compatible NDIS IM for Windows 98/98SE/ME and 2000.
You can download it from

http://user.cs.TU-Berlin.DE/~normanb

and take a peek into WINPPPOE.INF. Note that this IM unlike PASSTHRU has a
different upper edge than lower edge (upper edge is NDISWAN). Maybe my INF
is easier to understand than Microsoft\'s...
