我刚下载了win2000DDK, 看到下载页有这个：

我把这东西的作用告诉你，是否对你有用你自己判断吧。
这些是2k的系统文件的符号表。因此如果有的话，可以用
windbg/softice看到系统文件的全局变量和函数入口。

反正我是所有的开发系统上都安装了symbol。这东西可不小，
下载还是很费劲的。msdn里面的chkbuild和诊断盘里面有。

是不小,而且ms的网站下载特慢.今天下DDK,65m下了3个小时,我这还是宽带呢。
既然有这个作用，我还是down下来用吧.谢谢指点.
