9/4 or 9/12 in open discussions on networking with Microsoft technical
experts.

S e s s i o n   T i t l e:  Windows Drivers: NDIS Driver Developers
D e s c r i p t i o n :  Talk to the networking driver experts at Microsoft
in an online session focusing on the design, development, and debugging of
NDIS drivers. Bring your questions, complaints, and suggestions to the
discussion about NDIS, wireless functionality, NDIS IM drivers, and notify
objects.
D a t e s:  9/4, 9/12   Two sessions for the same topic enable more of our
global partners, customers, and employees to participate or monitor the
sessions. Log in on Wednesday, September 4, at 10 PST, or Thursday,
September 12, at 8pm PST/11pm EST/11am Taipei.

We are presenting online technical sessions as a part of the
long-established Ask the Experts tradition that has been held for many years
at the Microsoft Professional Developers\' Conference (PDC) and Windows
Hardware Engineering Conference (WinHEC).  Like the conference sessions,
these are focused technical discussions directly with experts at Microsoft
and other participating organizations or individuals who join in.

Some Chat Suggestions from PCAUSA

It has been my experiance that these chats are a little clumsy. If you do
decide to join one, prepare beforehand. Have an idea about what you really
want to ask about. Do ask questions SPECIFICALLY about NDIS. Asking
questions about general device driver programming concepts will waste
everyone\'s time.

Typing in a chat is clumsy also. You might consider using Notepad and
creating a text document beforehand that has brief paragraphs that describe
each question. When online, cut and paste into the chat.

It may very well be the case that your question cannot be answered online.
It may take some research, and the developers at Microsoft are trying to be
helpful. So, have a praragraph with your email address, etc. available in
case they say \"I\'ll get back with you on that\".

Don\'t make your questions to long or complex. Posting code snippets in a
chat would be useless.

Do include sufficient information, however. If you have a problem only on a
specific platform or with specific software or adapters installed, mention
them so folks can focus quickly on the real problem.

If it is your first time in a chat, it might be best just to snoop.
Franlkly, it will be one of my first times as well.
