Unclassified \Plug and Play Driver test fail on "Device string is NULL"

Hello,

 I want to do a driver submission of  "Unclassified" in Ultimate Vista x64 .
When I running WLK 1.0c \ Plug and Play Driver test got failure result
message - "Device string is NULL". Below are my test steps :

1) WLK 1.0c Controller + Studio setup on Windows Server 2003 (SP1) + with
hotfix  QFE0304 .
2) WLK 1.0c Client system setup is Ultimate Vista x64 and my driver.
3) After above setup ready , on WLK 1.0c -> open Job Monitor -> create new
Machine pool -> add MCU policy -> add Wdk\ConfigureUnclassified\ -> see job
name "Unclassified Master Config job" PASS.
4) Open Device Console -> create new submission -> Windows Vista Client
x64 -> Device Submission -> Unclassified -> Browse Vista x64 INF file path
wdk0602.inf(on the controller) -> press button "Load" -> Select "Plug and
Play Driver test" -> RUN
5) See "Plug and Play test" fail on "Device String is NULL" from "Job
Monitor".

About fail on "Device string is NULL" , is it driver bug or other WLK QFE
problem (I have installed  QFE0304 ) ? Could please suggestion to me ?

请问"Device string" 对应哪里的string？

I've the same issue last week. But after changed my USB hub then it passed.
You could try it.

俺也遇到了，多跑几次就过去了……

WLK1.0c is obsolete...
MS won't accept WLK1.0c submission any more...

Must use WLK1.2 or above
